Number 4, the cowboy shot: In this scene we see the focus of the camera being a boy with his hands on his hips. This low angle of brings a sense of superiority to the character. This is seen with him looking around the room to finally raising one arm in triumph. 
Number 5, Medium shot: In this scene we see the focus of the camera being a boy sitting down with a bag of chips and a sign saying "no food." This medium shot of the boy allows the audience to see the sign along with the bag of chips he is eating. This invokes a sense of humor within the clip.
Number 6, full shot: In this scene we see the focus being a boy dropping to his knees while the background is visible, being a room of people. This scene invokes a dramatic and desperate feel to the audience as the boy drops to his knees in a room full of people.

Number 3, Close Up Shot: This close up shot of the boy gives an audience a sense of shock. This is done through the rapid movements of the camera while coming closer to the character. 
Number 7, POV Shot: This POV shot gives us the perspective a boy greeting his friend. The use of this shot allows the audience to feel like they themselves are greeting this "friend." 
Number 8, Wide Shot: This wide shot of the boy looking for a book invokes a sense of isolation as he is the only character within the scene.

Below are the reviews for my peers first cuts of their movie opener.   https://youtu.be/pwUBkwR0Ths What specific technical elements of the film opening did you like? The technical element I really liked in the opening is the drone shot that they did. It was really well done and added to the cliffhanger that was necessary to be a continuation clip. Another element of the clip I liked was the closeups of the piano, especially the shot where the piano is being opened.  What specific technical elements of the film opening did you dislike? There was no sound in the video, this took away from the first 40 seconds. Especially since it seems like they are focusing on the playing of the piano within that. Another element is that some shots seem to hold a few seconds too long.  In this blogpost I am evaluating the reviews that other students have made on the first cut of the opening scene. My reply to the review will be highlighted with pink. Anabel's Review What specific technical elements of the film opening did you like?  I saw a lot of extreme close ups of Angelina and certain parts of her body to emphasize her nervous behavior which I liked. There was one the camera was focused on her hand while she was picking at her nail and another where she was fidgeting her foot. Before she began telling the doctor her routine,  There was a dutch shot inserted that may have been to set a smooth transition. The therapist had some clips where they zoomed in on him to show his confusion on what the patient was telling him. I also noticed some cross cutting elements where the clip of what the patient said happened appeared and it jumped to the clip that actually happened which was really cool.
